About Cooper Union Motorsports

Cooper Union Motorsports is The Cooper Union’s Formula team, founded in 1994. With dedicated students from the engineering, art, and architecture schools of The Cooper Union, the team has built an interdisciplinary family of individuals brought together by their passion for testing the limits of their technical skills and creativity. Located in the heart of New York City, the team has effectively combined the resources of Manhattan and the diversity in students to design, fabricate, test, develop and race a Formula vehicle which exceeds expectation. We are in this to create more than a vehicle We want to create a rolling work of art. A vehicle that is not only fast, but beautiful to watch and an experience to drive.
